Connectivity and hardware

What do the various LED light indicators mean?

The node is considered to be functioning properly when specific lights are displayed. The power section of the node should have a steady red light and a blinking green light. In the Ethernet area, there should be a blinking green light and a blinking yellow light. If you do not observe these blinking lights, please disconnect and reconnect your Starknode. It is recommended to connect your Starknode directly to a wall outlet for the most reliable power source. If any of the lights do not meet the mentioned requirements, the node will not sync.

What happens if there's an Internet outage or if the node has to be unplugged?

The syncing will stop at the last block and re-sync back from it when you plug it or get connected again.

Does the node need to be connected to the computer as well as the router?

Only your router and power cable should be connected to your Starknode.

Can any USB plug be used to power the device?

Use the microUSB port to your Starknode. Please use a wall outlet for the best power source.
